It was our 40th Sewol monthly protest at Trafalgar Square without a break since the disaster back in April 2014. It started with only a few of us angry and sad with what happened, and the then South Korean government’s extremely poor responses to the disaster.
We saw some changes since the impeachment of ex-president Park and President Moon’s government started.
However, there are still so many questions with no answer and no prevention measure has been developed. Therefore, we believe continuing campaigning for Sewol truth and justice is a necessity.
Many people paid their attention to the protest and spared their time to sign the petition for the Sewol Safety Park in Ansan.
